You should not use lorem ipsum because it creates unrealistic designs, hinders testing and feedback, and can be confusing to stakeholders and users.

A while back, we missed replacing some dummy text in a social media post. It went live. It was embarrassing. We were swapping in the client’s real copy but overlooked a small section. It only takes one missed spot for things to go sideways, and that was our moment.

Smarter Placeholder Copy
It’s not the final content, sure. But it’s close enough in tone and length that:
- We don’t accidentally ship lorem ipsum.
- Clients can actually visualize their message in the layout.
- The review process goes smoother (and feels more real).
It’s a simple fix, but it’s made a noticeable difference in how we work and what we ship.
