Gated Hazard Simulators + 3D Forecast Pop-ups for Future Proof
Highlights: Hazard/forecast focus (wildfires, hurricanes, floods, drought), journey flow (address → risk/time view), customer-gated simulator access, multi-view 3D pop-ups with AJAX conditions.

Project Brief
Future Proof work revolves around helping people understand extreme-weather hazards (wildfires, hurricanes, floods, drought) and explore risk through provided tools and simulations. The brief was to build a complete, modern, fully responsive website in Bricks, and support a user flow where people could enter their address, then access forecasting/simulator experiences tied to hazards.

Challenges
The core challenge was access + experience.
- Users needed to be registered as customers before they could view the simulators/3D forecasting.
- Another challenge was embedding multiple 3D views reliably; third-party embed attempts caused code issues, so the integration needed a stable approach that wouldn’t break the page or overlap experiences.

Solution
Built the site in Bricks, responsive across devices, with a clear hazards-first layout (forecasting + simulators.)
- Implemented a customer-gated flow using SureCart, syncing registrations via Bricks custom hooks so a signup also creates the user in SureCart.
- Integrated client-provided 3D code on the domain and displayed the experiences via iframe pop-ups (instead of fragile third-party embed methods.)
- Added AJAX conditions so multiple 3D views can be served through one pop-up system (no overlap, cleaner UX, more efficient.)

Results
- Future Proof now has a polished Bricks website that supports a smooth “address → hazard → simulator” journey, while keeping access controlled through customer registration.
- The 3D experiences load in a clean popup flow, and switching between multiple simulators stays stable and organized (no clashes, no confusion.)
