Multi-Step Registration + Admin Matching Flow for Sacred Amour

Project Brief
Sacred Amour is a matchmaking (matrimonial) service built around private, intentional introductions, not “swipe culture.” The client needed a full website in Bricks, where users can register through an extensive form, then view and update their profile. They also needed a backend flow where the team can review applicants, keep profiles pending until approved, and share matches through WhatsApp or email.
Challenges
The biggest challenge was the onboarding flow.
- The client wanted an “extensive” profile, but we still had to keep it comfortable to fill.
- Sacred Amour also required quality control: profiles shouldn’t go live instantly, and edits should stay reviewed to reduce spam and keep the process legit.
- On the admin side, the client needed all users in one place, with filters, statuses, and a clean way to send a matched profile quickly.
Solution
We built the site in Bricks and implemented a multi-step registration form (custom-coded) so users don’t face one massive form at once. This replaced the initial plan of using Ultimate Member, since it wasn’t a fit for the multi-step requirement.
Key flow we implemented:
- After signup, the user profile stays Pending until the admin approves it. Users get notified once approved.
- Users can view/update their profile.
- Built a root dashboard + customer dashboard where the admin can review users in one list, with clear status badges (pending vs approved).
- Added filters inside the dashboard (hair color, body weight, and other profile attributes) so the team can shortlist faster.
- Created WhatsApp + email templates with placeholders (including images and profile details) that update dynamically for each user.
This gave visitors a more engaging way to explore service categories without page reloads or clutter.
Results
- Sacred Amour now has a complete, responsive Bricks website with a clean registration experience and a controlled approval system that helps prevent spam profiles.
- The admin team can review users quickly, filter and shortlist matches, then forward the matched profile via WhatsApp or email using ready-made templates. All very fast, consistent, and easy to run day-to-day.
