Created a Bold Identity That Speaks to Safrana’s Core
The Beginning of the Journey
When Safrana, a rent-on-rent business model in Saudi Arabia, came to us, they had one main goal: to create a brand identity that would really stand out. They wanted to attract mid-range travelers who want good value without giving up on quality. Our job was to make Safrana unforgettable.
Project Kickoff
Safrana had no previous branding attempts, so we had a clean slate to work with. This gave us the chance to create something unique from scratch.
The Design Process
Exploring Ideas
We began by exploring various design ideas and providing Safrana with multiple options. Our aim was to give them a range of visually engaging choices that were flexible enough to adapt across different platforms. These initial designs were meant to spark discussions and help narrow down the aesthetic direction that felt most authentic to the brand.
The Icon Challenge
Our first approach involved using familiar symbols, such as a house and a door hanger, to represent Safrana’s hospitality services. However, during the brainstorming and feedback sessions, it became clear that these icons didn’t align with the unique identity Safrana wanted to project. Instead of evoking the feel of a modern, stylish brand, they seemed more fitting for a security company or a traditional travel agency, which wasn’t the image Safrana aimed for.
The Monogram Solution
Realizing the need for a more distinctive approach, we shifted our focus to creating a monogram, a minimalistic yet powerful design using the initials of Safrana. This approach allowed us to maintain simplicity while designing an elegant and unique logo that could stand on its own. After several iterations and refinements, we developed a monogram that captured Safrana’s identity and could be instantly recognized across various mediums.
The Result
Here’s what we delivered:
- Brand Identity: A stylish monogram logo that’s modern and easy to recognize.
- Brand Guidelines: Clear instructions on how to use the logo and other brand elements consistently.
- Market Positioning: A visual style that helps Safrana stand out in the hospitality market.
- Design Assets: All the visual materials needed to keep the brand looking great.
We focused on keeping things simple, adaptable, and visually strong. The result was a logo that looks great everywhere, whether it’s on a website or a business card. Safrana now has a brand identity that’s memorable and fits its target audience perfectly.
